Inspired by a baby shower.

Whilst personally I have never really been a fan of the traditional baby shower, I must say, at times I do love looking at the photos and seeing the themes and colours people select. There is so much effort that goes into these parties. And more recently, I have seen the word baby sprinkle used instead of shower. The gatherings for mums expecting the second, third or fourth child and a great excuse to celebrate the upcoming arrival.

Whether its a baby shower or sprinkle, people really get so creative with all the decorations and catering. So many colours are used, various papers, embellishments, photo walls and balloon garlands. You can really see the love and excitement of the upcoming baby that goes into the party.

Recently I was asked to do some cake toppers for baby Newman’s baby shower.

I created a basic name topper in rose gold glitter paper along with little onesie in purple and rose gold for the cupcakes.

It was great getting the photo sent to me showing how the cake looked. So simple and pretty. I hope all enjoyed the baby shower.
