And that’s a wrap.

And so we have made it. 2019 has come and it is time to set new goals, new challenges but also reflect on the year gone by. It started off still being on maternity leave and then things got real and crazy when I returned to work in March a few days a week. It was time then to balance Inspired by Paper with motherhood and my other job. The wait time on orders became a little longer than I would have liked but that is something I am working on improving in 2019.

I was lucky enough to end the year with my biggest order. I was asked to produce 60 frames for a great little cafe Cuff Food & Wine. These frames were all going into hampers that were ordered along with lots of other goodies such as wine and coffee. The photo below shows some of the range of papers that were used. It was so great to have one small business, support anther small business in Inspired by Paper. I enjoyed making these- it got me in the festive spirit!- and I even roped in my niece for some extra pocket money to take all the plastic off the frames!

I am so grateful to have the support of my family also whilst trying to keep Inspired by Paper going. There is no way my one year old would be able to come to the workroom. I tried taking him once for a five minute job and it turned into 30 minutes! Therefore being able to leave Patrick with family and friends has been so beneficial.

So whatever hopes and dreams you have in 2019 I wish you all the best in chasing them and being happy.

I look forward to sharing many new creations with you.
