Inspired by kids artwork

Socks, underwear, golf balls. Its not always a easy (or fun) job buying those fathers day presents each year. Several years ago I put together a frame for a customer which was created using cut up pieces of her sons artwork. As fathers day approached this year, she once again asked for some frames for her now two sons, to give to their dad.

She dropped off some pieces of art that the boys had created and I got to work in putting them all together. The frame itself needed to be a certain size and I only could find one with a holes for four photos so I trimmed it back to make it a standard frame mat. Below are some photos of the process of putting it all together. Definitely something you could try yourself at home and can change around each year.
