Inspired by Instagram trends.
I follow a lot of interior design pages on Instagram. Actually, I should say I stalk a lot of businesses. There are so many out there. So many who are influencing the spending of many females. A stylist will use one print in a kids room and then the weeks ahead I see them pop up all over my news feed in many other children’s rooms. These trends come and go quickly. The Flamingo has been sitting around for a few months and the pineapple is currently fighting with the watermelon as to the fruit of choice to decorate rooms with. One theme that has also been around for a bit it the monochrome look. This is more common in boys room where you will find black and white prints, rugs, cushions and doonas. You will also see a lot of mask inspired prints and linen. So when Bree from Sir Trouble had her hubby design some mask fabric to make some bags and cushions, he also kindly sent through some designs to print on paper. I loved creating this frame that is simple yet effective and compliments the Sir Trouble cushion nicely. We have a few other collaborations in the pipeline that we need to jump on quickly before the flamingo flies away and Christmas passes by (hint hint!)
The mask frame and cushion are for sale individually through our own pages or as a package at a discounted price at the Gisborne and Maribyrnong Makers Markets.
